Death of an iPod

I never realized how much I dearly love my iPod until it died on me, unexpectedly, yesterday. I wanted to cry a little bit. After hearing from my boss at work that indeed, Edward was done, I wanted a second opinion. Unfortunately that second opinion was the same. There is no hope for Edward. There are few options that I have. I can either send him in for a new battery, taking time and costing around $80, or I can wait until Christmas and get a snazzy iPod touch. Decisions, decisions... I now have to wake up to a horrible and loud beeping from my alarm clock that just doesn't give the same start to my day as waking up to "Morning Calls" by Dashboard Confessional. It's sad, but I'll just have to survive.
